For more than a decade, Elise  has taken on powerful medical device companies in the women’s health space, as well as major hospitals, big box retailers and multinational elevator and escalator companies.

Elise has secured seven figure settlements for her clients. 

 

From 2015-2022 Elise was named to the Illinois Super Lawyers list as a “Rising Star,” a distinction that is limited to fewer than 2.5% of the attorneys in Illinois. In 2023, she was elevated to the “Super Lawyers” list in the same publication. Since 2016, she has been named to the Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s “Emerging Lawyers,” an honor given to the top 2% of lawyers in Illinois who are age 40 or younger or have practiced 10 years or less.

 

Elise is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers’ Association, where she is honored to serve on its Board of Managers and is also a proud member of the American Association for Justice.

 

Elise takes special pride in her trial advocacy skills. In law school she was a member of the national trial advocacy team, ranked #4 in the country by U.S. News & World Report, and won a regional championship.

Elise’s bar admissions include Illinois, Northern District of Illinois Trial Bar and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

 

She received her B.A. from University of Wisconsin Madison in 2008 and her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011.

 

Elise founded Women’s Injury Law Group in February 2022. She seeks to build a firm with a diverse range of talented lawyers and to create a culture that supports working moms.
